Heima is a sculptural candlestick molded out of cast iron and featuring a recognizable design that pays tribute to industrial craftmanship and Nordic traditions. Heima means home or the world according to Nordic mythology and the minimalist candlestick fits elegantly into both modern and classic decors.
Heima was designed for Normann Copenhagen by Francis Cayouette who was born in Canada, graduated from the School of Industrial Design at the University of Montreal. Later Francis took part in an exchange program at Les Ateliers in Paris and in 1999 he moved to Copenhagen where he set up Unit 10 Design.
