Normann Copenhagen for The Holidays….

Rikke Hagen graduated from the Danish School of Design; Glassware and Ceramics in 1998. She runs her own workshop, the Hagenglas workshop, in North Sealand. She normally starts with sketches by drawing simple lines or abstract scribbles which later results in the final design throughout selection and simplification. By developing the design she takes inspiration in her sketches, as the actual technique and material often limits her creative process. Her vision is to create design for everyday life – preferably through a glance of simplicity and play.
Rikke Hagen explains,”I wanted the glass to give the user a feeling of a gentleman’s study and at the same time, the sense of calmness you get when you, for example, fondle a stone. The stem kept irritating me. I took the consequence and cut it off. That’s how my Cognac glass was born.”

  • Shape of the glass increases the pleasure of deep color and movement of the liquid
  • Can also be used as a table decoration
  • Dishwasher safe
  • Overall Dimensions: 4.3″ W
